Pacific Coastal celebrates 1 year of Penticton flights, announces plans to expand service

Pacific Coastal

Pacific Coastal Airlines is celebrating its one-year anniversary of flying between Vancouver Airport South Terminal and Penticton Airport, announcing a seat sale as well as plans to expand its service this summer.

The airline soared into the YVR-YYF market on Jan. 11, 2021 in response to the news of Air Canada would be suspending service during the pandemic (Air Canada has since resumed flights between Vancouver and Penticton).

In addition to Pacific Coastal Airlines and Air Canada, two other commercial airlines provide flights to YYF: WestJet (Calgary and Edmonton) and Cascadia Air, which launched in September 2021, providing direct flights to Vancouver South Terminal as well as commuter/charter/seasonal routes to locations throughout Vancouver Island, Fraser Valley and Okanagan. Visit our Airlines page to find out more about each of the carriers.

Expanded Service & Seat Sale

Pacific Coastal has announced it will increase its flights to offer seven days a week as of June 26, including a new Saturday service starting July 2.

The airline is also offering 20% off as part of its one-year anniversary seat sale (book by Jan. 16, 2022). Get all the details on their website.
