Unfortunately, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds have cancelled their aerobatic performance as well as their static display and meet-and-greet at YYF Penticton Airport. This follows a recent incident at Fort St John. 431 (Air Demonstration) Squadron CT-114 aircraft will not be flown while a Royal Canadian Air Force flight safety team investigates to determine the cause of the incident.
The SkyHawks parachute team will be on-site at the airport on Wednesday morning, signing autographs, from 10-11 a.m. This will be set up at the north end of the tower, within a cordoned off area of the tarmac.
The SkyHawks perform at 5 p.m. above Okanagan Lake for their Peach Festival performance.
