At Penticton Airport, health and safety has always been our number one priority. We support all measures to protect public health and to make your trip as comfortable as possible.
Our cleaning staff is working extra hard to ensure high-touch areas throughout the terminal are sanitary and safe. We have physical distancing measures in place to protect passengers, crew, visitors and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to make YYF a healthy environment for all.
Masks and Face Coverings
Masks are mandatory for anyone entering Penticton Airport.
All air passengers over the age of two must have a non-medical mask or face covering to cover their mouth and nose during travel.
Reusable masks must have at least two layers of tightly woven fabric, such as cotton or linen, with a third (middle) layer of a filter-type fabric such as washable non-woven polypropylene fabric or a disposable filter.
Face coverings with exhalation valves/vents, bandanas and face shields are not permitted, according to the Canadian Airport Transport Security Authority (CATSA) guidelines.
If you are unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition, you must provide a medical certificate signed by a medical professional confirming you are unable to wear a face covering.
For more information about COVID-19 safety precautions for air travel in Canada, visit CATSA’s website.
